The Maintenance, Modification and Rectification of Life rafts and Survival Equipment (SE) for all aircraft supported by all Sqns at RAF Brize Norton and listed units, as per individual equipment support authority policy.
Assemble and maintain Survival Equipment Section (SES) equipment to Forward and Depth levels, including both on and off aircraft work.
Support of short notice tasking and operational requirements. National Stand By called equipment shall be issued as per the OP Order, examples include, ASRA and ASRA subset assemblies and SAR boxes.

This is an opportunity for an experience SE Technician, who has worked from a similar role within the Royal Air Force or Royal Navy.
As a Survival Equipment Technician, the successful candidate will need to adopt a "right first time, every time" attitude in supporting there colleagues and the customer.

At RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco has been providing multi-activity and engineering support since 1997. Serco proudly support the RAF and MoD, supplying around 20 different services onsite, from engine and aircraft maintenance, to fuelling and ground control services.
RAF Brize Norton is the largest operating base within the Royal Air Force, providing air transport and air-to-air refuelling to the RAF fleet, and as a Survival Equipment Technician, you'll contribute enormously to the vital work carried out here. You'll also be part of the wider team, with 5,800 service personnel, 1,200 contractors and 300 civil servants on site.
