We are looking for an enthusiastic and results orientated individual with a passion for people to join our Manchester Supply Site

You will be responsible for driving and delivering the Company's people strategy to support the supplies team locally.,

  • Developing strong relationships with the Site Leadership teams

  • Ensuring the supplies team focus on the importance of people by providing professional expertise to support the supplies people plan

  • Actively supporting the Senior Supplies People Manager and the Site Leadership teams in developing effective People and operational plans

  • Developing employee engagement across the site and encouraging fair, impartial and consistent employee relations

  • Influencing and participating in working groups in the development of improved people policies and procedures

  • Driving effective labour planning, succession planning and performance management activities to meet the current and future needs of the supply site

  • Managing complex ER issues, sharing best practice and feedback to Supply People colleagues

  • Driving the development of Team Leaders and Supervisors and Graded Managers within the supply site

  • Acting as a champion of Greggs competencies and values for the business

  • Ensuring the effective management of all employee absence and wellbeing

  • Managing supplies People costs for the supply site

Candidate Description

  • Proven influential communication skills across all levels in the business

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong time management

  • Generalist HR expertise

  • Experience of managing change

  • CIPD or equivalent qualification
