In Cyber Prevent, the Solution Engineers work closely alongside the Platform Managers as part of the platform leadership team for their cyber security platform/s, which will collectively ensure that their platform/s provide an effective first line of defence for the related Cyber Security Baseline controls and are delivering optimum risk reduction to meet the required adequacy and coverage for the platform/s. The platform leadership team has to also ensure their platform/s are globally consistent; effective and efficient; they will also be responsible for defining and driving the global platform roadmap and leading the virtual & matrixed platform technical teams to design, build and lifecycle manage the platform. The platform leadership team will work intimately with central Group Technology and Cyber Security teams & globally dispersed local Cyber Security teams to ensure that the related Cyber Security Baseline controls Vodafone's global risk posture relating to the platform is being appropriately managed. Design & delivery management: Translation of high level designs to Low Level Designs and MVPs for on premise and cloud environments, ensuring the Engineering capability are able to execute against the corresponding designs to deliver operational services.
Assurance of Demands that require 'first of type' configuration of elements of the PAM solution, ensuring that resultant designs, patterns and standards adhere to product best practices and Vodafone security requirements
Demand Management: Working closely with product management and operations to triage Credential Onboarding requests, ensuring that requirements for all Demands are understood, sized and categorised for delivery.
Service Assurance: Support the Platform and Solution Engineer in the communication and assurance of Vodafone's PAM implementations; consulting on pattern adoption, validating regional designs and ensuring a consistent view of risk across the business.
Drive innovation: Proactively identify areas of technical or operational improvement - leveraging previous experience, product capabilities or by the creation of novel product integrations and enhancements.
Escalation support: Act as an escalation point for the operational team where assistance may be required supporting the production environment.
Extensive experience designing, implementing, monitoring, tuning and upgrading Privileged Access Solution Component Servers.
Extensive hands-on experience of the full lifecycle of credential management utilising CyberArk
An expert with multiple server Operating Systems, security/network appliances, public/private cloud, TCP/IP and Active Directory.
Experience with scripting, databases, and the following technologies: SSO, SIEM, LDAP/S, IIS/Apache, MFA, PKI
Solid understanding of ITIL-based Service Management and Priority Incident Response playbooks/runbooks
