Employer Description

The AI Imaging Team is currently running 3 workstreams that require regular technical work: the National Covid Chest Imaging Database, its AI model validation work package, and the National Medical Imaging Platform commissioning process. As these different workstreams lead to conversations with AI developers and researchers in the medtech space, the lack of technical resources within the team is delaying projects or causing missed opportunities. Having additional technical resources would enable the team to take ownership of previously outsourced projects with more ease, as well as quickly react to sudden opportunities with partners. This will help to build the NHS AI Lab's tech culture and make the most out of the outsourced projects by reusing them with AI actors not initially included in the projects' scope. It will ensure that the AI Imaging team's work profits from a broader view as possible while being as cost effective as possible. Imagine having a talent that could benefit someone you've never met and solve problems you didn't even know existed. Well, you do, and you can. And we're here to help you do just that. At PSR we are the go-to place for talented contractors and temps for a rich variety of public sector roles. As a Software Engineer your main responsibilities would be: + NCCID Pipeline maintenance and upgrades + AI model validation programme (VM management)
