The purpose of the Mobile Services team is to ensure our customers are getting the services and experience they expect from Vodafone. Through intelligent performance and service monitoring systems, you will be troubleshooting and resolving complex mobile network faults. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop knowledge across the end-to-end service flows for mobile. This will include: Mobile Voice services, Mobile data services, Fixed line voice services, Customer behaviours and special event monitoring. The Mobile Service Senior engineer is critical to providing a great customer service. Ensuring all impacting faults are resolved in a timely manner. Minimising impact to our customers. Who are we looking for?
Experience of working Network Management, Customer Operations or Operations Centre environment within the Managed Services (data or voice), or Telecoms Sector
Understanding of Mobile Voice and Data networks. Including RAN, MPLS, SIP, and Voice switching network.
Work under pressure to a high standard in order to resolve high impacting faults efficiently.
Ability to resolve complex and unusual problems using a methodical approach driving operational performance for service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels internally and externally.
Passion to self-develop and learn new skills in other exciting network domains.
The successful applicant should have a very high degree of interpersonal skills and be self-motivated, with an extremely high degree of both Customer and Service ethos.
SC Clearance or eligible to apply is a MUST. 5 Years minimal within the UK.
