In your new role as a Service Desk Operative you will be responsible for Logging, updating and closing all reactive tasks in, ensuring that these are all dealt with within target times. This includes liaising with the operational teams to ensure timely updating and completion of all tasks, supporting the team and providing guidance around the contractual obligations where required. In aid of this, you will ensure that all contract bibles are up to date ad provide clear guidance on contract specific processes required for contractual compliance.
You will also be responsible for organising call outs of in-house engineers and external specialist sub-contractors, where these services are required. This will involve developing a deep understanding of contract specifics to ensure that tasks are appropriately prioritised, completed and escalated (where necessary). You will produce reports and statistics as required, highlighting areas of financial risk.
In order to be successful in this role you should have experience within a similar role. You will have good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and PC's, with excellent written and verbal communication. You will also have a positive can-do attitude with the ability to work well under pressure to ensure deadlines and targets are met. Teamworking and customer service skills are key for this role.
