Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join us in helping to attract, engage and retain key talent within our business. The role will be responsible for identifying top talent for Telford Homes across all functions, in-line with the firms' overall goals and strategic objectives. You will proactively build relationships throughout Telford Homes, and the wider TCC and CBRE organisation to become a trusted advisor and an ambassador of the Company. Working in partnership with stakeholders your commercial knowledge, pursuit of talent expertise and profile of hire excellence will be your core focus. While Telford Homes will be your primary focus, you will also assist the Senior People Business Partner in the operational set up and the Talent Acquisition efforts of our exciting new Logistics business based in EMEA within Trammell Crow Company. You will also assist and support the CBRE REI Talent Acquisition function as and when necessary. Based within the People Team at Telford Homes in Waltham Cross, North London, you will also work within our specialist team of Talent Acquisition Advisors whom partner, consult, hunt and acquire talent for our UK and EMEA business. Our team of talent leaders are true subject experts, that have a passion for driving best in class recruiting.,

  • Build relationships with Sr. Management, People Business Partners to review current and future resourcing needs.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the teams and the various professional skill profiles such as surveying, commercial, land and planning, project management, site management, as well as a sound understanding of the business strategy and workforce requirements.

  • Add value to the teams by providing market knowledge, skills gap analysis, competitor compensation levels vs internal, potential time and cost of hire, and manage key stakeholder expectations throughout recruitment process.

  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies aimed at creating talent pipelines to meet future business needs. This will include headhunting, social media, relevant job boards, employee referrals and third-party recruitment partners.

  • Develop and provide regular and consistent reporting to key stakeholders. Review and analyse reports looking for areas for improvement and remedies.

  • Provide a successful offer management process to the business and candidate population. Talk though counteroffer scenarios and best practise to ensure high completion rates.

  • Add TCC Europe UK Talent Acquisition for UK and coordination for EMEA

  • Be part of the CoE UK Talent Acquisition and participate in various TA related projects for CBRE REI

  • Support, Implement and train with regard to Recruitment tooling and methodology (inclusive of interview skills training)

Candidate Description

  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role and experience recruiting in Real Estate or Construction would be an advantage.

  • The ideal candidate could come from either a Recruitment Agency or In-House background.

  • Proven ability to deliver - understands business challenges and delivers successful outcomes.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

  • Can engage and influence people quickly at all levels and across different functions.

  • Shows credibility using excellent and adaptive communication skills.

  • Challenge positively, question the status quo, be resilient and vary approach to match business needs.

  • Highly motivated, able to work under pressure and with time constraints and delegate to others as appropriate.

  • Confidence working across all levels of recruitment.

  • Managing successful recruitment projects at senior level through to junior.

  • Ability to employ a headhunting approach to all levels of recruitment and not rely solely on advert response.

  • Strong commercial acumen, sense of urgency and business sense.
