role will include: Loss prevention and investigation Reactive and proactive claims investigation Loss data analysis Investigations into allegations of dishonesty and other criminal conduct, preparing files to the criminal standard where required. Represent the business in any criminal proceedings Internal disciplinary investigations into breaches of company policy and file preparation Responsibility for physical security and manguarding at allocated sites and liaison with third party suppliers Point of contact for local police and other law enforcement agencies Regular audit and risk assessments in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements Compliance enforcement Investigation of all incidents of workplace violence Staff security inductions and regular security briefings to all staff Co-ordinate the investigation of security matters with various law enforcement agencies at local levels Achieving regular key performance indicator targets In order to be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate the following Core & Specialist Skills: Security Experience in a Commercial, Logistics, Express or Freight Environment Proven Investigation Skills including Interview Skills General Knowledge & Experience of Criminal Law and Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 Working Knowledge of Security Equipment (e.g. CCTV) Experienced in Security Risk Assessments Experience in Intelligence/Information Handling Desirable skills Minimum three years' experience within a security or investigative or a law enforcement agency environment Out of office, unsocial and weekend working will be required where necessary.
