As the Senior Project & Bids consultant, you will play a key role in leading the production of a project management plan to outline Serco's approach to managing large, complex and high-risk programmes in the Defence sector. You'll also support Serco's transition, migration and exit planning on a key defence contract. We'll be looking to lean on your expertise to Support, as required, the development of a number of written bid responses that articulate Serco's approach and plan to mobilise, transform and prepare for exit of contracts. You'll also coordinate inputs from consortium partners to ensure a robust and holistic PMP response across Serco's supply chain. What you'll need to do the role Firstly, you'll need Project Management certification and a developed knowledge of Project Management methodologies, tools and techniques, all corroborated with a demonstrable experience of successfully managing projects. You'll need experience in planning and executing mobilisation and transitions following new business award / contract exit. Comfortable with large amounts of data and operating within a complex environment. You'll be experienced and comfortable working in a high pressure and fast paced bid environment. Lastly, you'll have complex defence or engineering tendering/bidding experience Why Serco?
