Job Description

We are recruiting a Senior Programme Manager to join the team located in 61 Southwark Street, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing detailed project schedules from proposal to implementation, coordinating activities of project teams, identifying project issues, organizing and verifying documents, communicating project information and assuming additional responsibilities as assigned. The PM will utilize PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) or Scrum as best practice, standards, and guidelines for all projects. Key Tasks:

  • Interfaces with clients to define project requirements

  • Creates persuasive presentations that meet the project's objectives

  • Creates / manages project budget including cost projections for projects.

  • Establishes project work plan and deadlines

  • Plans, coordinates, and delegates work assignments for D&T project team members.

  • Responsible for the oversight and performance of D&T project status, meetings, reporting, scope changes, financials, administrative, and technical issues.

  • Manages project scope, change management, monitors project progress and performance, and provides status reports to D&T management and Project Sponsors, as required.

  • Serves as liaison between client business team and CBRE D&T covering: D&T deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and budgets.

  • Monitors expenses to ensure project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget

  • Qualifies and recommends contractors by reviewing bids and related documents

  • Oversee Preparation of "For Execution" consultants contracts and management of the execution of these documents

  • Manages project team by providing direction and leadership

  • Manages expectations of sponsors, stakeholders, and team regarding scope of work and responsibilities.

  • Facilitates client meetings regarding project matters

  • Actively updates multiple project records using the Account-approved project tracking software

  • Manages a work unit and/or group

  • Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating direct reports

  • Responsible for hiring, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation

  • Other duties may be assigned

Candidate Description

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as math, business, information technology, or computer science, or equivalent work experience.,

  • Project experience with Microsoft Project and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Visio experience a plus.

  • Ability to forecast and prepare budgets

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills

  • Intermediate skills with Google software and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge

  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Manages and maintains project financial tracking and reporting.

  • Budget management Experience

  • 3-5 years of combined business and/or D&T experience.

  • Strong proven commercial development management experience

  • Experience of delivering large complex ground up commercial developments essential Aptitude

  • Ability to work in a face-paced, deadline driven team environment

  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information

  • Extremely detailed orientated with strong communication skills

  • Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex business documents

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues Circumstances

  • The role requires the post holder to work outside of core office hours on a frequent basis
