The UC&C Line of Business (LoB) exists to drive market leading, profitable growth across a €3bn global Unified Communications, Connectivity and Mobility portfolio. The portfolio includes flagship products, which are central to the execution of the Vodafone's Business strategy. A key success factor for the LoB is ensuring that our portfolio strategy is effectively translated into executable product roadmaps, underpinned by robust, business cases. Leveraging skills and capabilities across the UC&C functional operating model to drive commercial performance success, this highly visible, senior role requires proven experience working effectively with a wide range of senior stakeholders across Technology, Product Management, GTM and Finance teams globally to drive the performance of Products in our Group Connectivity & Unified Communications portfolio, key to the success of our VGE channel, and to explore options to support local markets through reuse of group capability.
What will you be doing? Ensuring…
Revenue, profit, customer satisfaction and performance targets are delivered
Group product roadmaps and backlogs for the product are created and optimised by the group Platform & Solutions team in order to reflect the portfolio strategy
There is an effective market engagement process to give non-VGE markets input and insight into the group roadmap - with the objective of maximising opportunities to share group capability to reduce cost per market and maximise investment efficiency
Business case creation, assessment and prioritisation is undertaken for the product - with realistic assumptions and phasing that sets us up for successful delivery
Market demand is interlocked, traceable, realistic and updated through the development cycle - with an understood risk profile and clear, ongoing expectation management touch points in place
Work with VBP&S/VBIT on the delivery of all Value Streams associated with the product/portfolio. Identify commercial risk in delivery and drive commercial mitigation plans
Strong background in Unified Communications OR Connectivity products, with a history of thought leadership and driving transformational improvement
Appropriate product lifecycle management experience, and the ability to triage across a product and segment mix, ensuring issues are resolved and plans stay on-track.
Skilled in reviewing product performance end-to-end; including market perception, channel ability to sell, channel ability to deliver and service etc. across.
The gravitas to act as the expert for their product portfolio with credibility up to customer 'C' level and senior leadership team (SLT) level.
Appropriate experience in leading and motivating virtual teams and the ability to maintain the right balance between tactical and strategic activity to remain on-top of our game and ahead of our competition.
