· Build, develop and manage the product roadmap for initiatives/features enhancing customer experience - define product vision supported by internal and external analysis. · Actively build relationships with technical program managers, product managers, and engineers to deliver on your product roadmap · Collaborate with internal Amazon businesses around the globe to define new requirements · Stay current with competitors, standards, and CX feature landscape · · Facilitate the EU launch of new features by working with global program teams · Provide thought leadership for pricing function by continuously experimenting with different strategies to deliver competitive prices for our customers · Identify new businesses segments and pockets of selection currently underserviced by the business · Create and own a set of metrics that provide insights on customer behaviour as customers interact with the BISS offering · Work closely with the product marketing team and jointly develop on the go-to-market strategy for new categories scheduled for launch · Help the business in launching new product categories

Candidate Description

In Sep 2015, we launched BISS (Business, Industrial and Scientific Supplies) in Europe. The business was launched across UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. It currently encompasses 17 categories covering a range of products targeting small and big businesses. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to help accelerate Amazon's positioning in the B2B product segment.

This is an opportunity to join the early stages of a rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned product manager who thrives in a start-up environment where he/she is comfortable with ambiguity and willing to roll up his or her sleeves to get things done. You will lead a new business segment and will align cross-organisational teams to define and drive the business strategy and product & CX roadmap. The ideal candidate should be able to identify and capitalise on business opportunities by designing or adopting product and features that customers will love.

The position will be based in Amazon's office in London., · BS or BA in computer science, engineering, math, finance, business or economics · Professional experience in product management, operations, program management or consulting experience with approximately 5+ years' of cumulative experience · Data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills. Ability to investigative problem at hand, dive deep to the root cause of a problem, find systematic gaps, support it with analytical data and finally address the issue. · Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences · Ability to thrive in an agile and rapidly changing environment on highly visible projects and initiatives

· MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Management, or Technology · Experience of delivering features and products at scale · Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
