Job Description

Responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of a wide portfolio and group of innovation programs, leadinga team of project and program management professionals as well as support staff. Working closely with senior cross-functional leaders across the entire business to define and deliver critical initiatives to support Mitieu2019s strategicobjectives, product portfolios and roadmaps. Ensuring that senior leaders are held to account to deliver the outcomescommitted and that any likelihood of deviance is called out pro-actively and mitigated.u00a0u00b7 Leadershipo Leading multi-million pound portfoilos and major changes, to help shape and clarify initiatives acrossthe Mitie groupu00b7 Deliveryo Take responsibility for the design and delivery of large complex programmes leading multi-disciplinedteams, ensuring outcomes are achieved as committed.u00b7 Stakeholder Managemento Reporting into the Head of Programmes and senior stakeholder management up to the Mitie exec levelu00b7 Risk Managemento Proactive Risk Management at a Portfoilo level to call out and control risks against the successfuldelivery of the portfolios. Candidate Description

u00b7 Recognised impact and influencing skills, effective in negotiation and strategic in approachu00b7 Demonstrable ability to lead and manage multi-disciplined teams, business, technology, change.u00b7 Comfortable confirming scope of complex, critical programmes, scoping deliveries and attaining sign off forchangeu00b7 Significant experience of delivery methodologies across the portfolio management practiceu00b7 Experience of delivering multiple programmes with multi-site, complex, enterprise environmentsu00b7 Outstanding stakeholder management skills including board levelu00b7 Ability to understand, support and articulate complex change processes and governanceu00b7 Experience of managing significant budgets and business casesu00b7 P&L management experienceu00b7 Outstanding leadership skillsu00b7 Excellent at issue and risk managementu00b7 Excellent written and verbal communication skillsu00b7 Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsu00b7 Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and associated Programme/Project Management softwareu00b7 Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a desirable, but not essentialu00b7 BSc/BA in computer science, or relevant field; MBA/MA will be a benefit, but not essential
