As a Senior Agile Delivery Manager your main responsibilities would be: + Help high performance teams to continuously improve, share information and set standards for other teams + Helps develop and utilise meaningful metrics in order to drive teams towards their goals and understand areas for improvement + Creates a safe and supporting environment for all teams, encouraging them to experiment and making failure a safe part of learning. + Leads by example, acting as a servant-leader demonstrate the right behaviors. Deals with conflict and helps establish a team culture that allows for constructive criticism + Owns and builds relationships with the technical teams, Product Owners, senior stakeholders, management and third-party sub-contractors utilising effective and appropriate governance mechanisms. Managing complex team dynamics between external and internal stakeholder groups to ensure the team is aligned to and understands the same objectives + Work with technology and business teams to ensure that security controls, products & services are delivered effectively to realise measurable benefits + Supports the Product Owners and Domain Team Delivery Managers to define and build the digital delivery roadmap and translate into an achievable backlog + Design, facilitate and lead workshops, meetings with a variety of stakeholders, driving out outcomes and establishing the pace of delivery + Risk mitigation managing, issues and dependencies (external and internal) across Technology Services and Digital + Drives the pace of delivery across projects and programmes, responsible for owning key blockers till they are resolved and guiding other members of the delivery community to help them deliver effectively + Manage external assurance groups, that they are appropriately engaged and aware to enable them to avoid any risks related to formal + Ensure funding is in place and track spending and forecasts regularly and accurately + Lead agile events across multiple projects and sets the standards for agile project management, ensuring business and delivery teams are working to a common, shared objective and vision to deliver specific outcomes + Work directly with multiple suppliers to manage complex commercial relationships + Communicating with impact across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, tailoring messages to ensure that it is right for the audience + Encourage and nurture a culture of working in an agile manner utilising agile delivery principles
- Excellent knowledge of JIRA + Knowledge of Mural, Miro, Draw.io would be advantageous + Familiarity with Kanban framework + Experience working on large, complex programmes + Ability to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use + Stakeholder engagement + Experience of working in an agile environment. + Agile delivery knowledge + Experience of delivering software in multiple GDS phases + Experience of managing a live service + Experience of leading a delivery team If this Senior Agile Delivery Manager role sounds like something that you would be interested in, please click the link to apply and speak to one of our PSR team now.
