Job Description

  • To ensure you have a good working knowledge of the Assignment Instructions, Procedures and Risk Assessments.

  • To conduct regular training and scenario testing.

  • To ensure the safety of staff and visitors by conducting Internal and External patrols, as laid down by the Assignment Instructions, ensuring Integrity and Safety of Site at All Times.

  • To respond to incidents as directed by the Security Control Room.

  • To monitor access and egress of personnel and respond to breaches.

  • To be responsible for the administration and return of radio communication equipment.

  • To ensure all incidents are reported promptly to the Security Control Room and ensure all investigation notes are detailed within your notebook.

  • To ensure integrity of the security systems is maintained as directed by the Security Control Room.

  • To aid in the supervision of sub-contractors and cleaners in business sensitive areas and ensure correct permits are in place where required.

  • To immediately report all potentially suspicious packages, vehicles, activities and persons to the Security Control Room.

  • Any other duties deemed to be appropriate or necessary to the post.

  • To maintain a clean and presentable appearance at all times.

    Stand-in controller

  • To monitor and administer all aspects of the Control Centre technology systems including Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, Lift Controls, and Fire Command Panel.

  • To assist and monitor the Security Team to respond to incidents.

  • To ensure all incoming telephone calls are answered in a timely manner.

  • To ensure that all critical alarms are actioned in a timely manner.

  • Ensure full compliance with Credit Suisse Policies and Procedures are followed.

  • To administer card issuance to contractors within the Credit Suisse guidelines and procedures.

  • To monitor access and egress of personnel and respond to breaches.

  • To be responsible for the administration, issue and return of all keys, and radio communication equipment and audit compliance.

  • To ensure that all incidents, which occur during the course of your duties, are reported promptly and recorded within the guidelines laid down by Global Security Services, efficiently dealt with, and escalated.

  • To ensure integrity of the security systems is maintained.

  • To ensure supervision of sub-contractors and cleaners in business sensitive areas.

  • To complete the Control Centre hand over sheet at the end of each shift and ensure that any outstanding issues are handed over.

  • To comply with data protection guidelines regarding disclosure of personal and confidential information held on the security databases.

  • To run reports and view CCTV footage as directed by the Global Security Services team.

  • To co-ordinate daily team duties.

  • To promptly report all system faults.

  • To conduct a patrol of the premises using CCTV internally and externally and the patrol book, noting the results.

  • Any other duties deemed to be appropriate or necessary to the post.

Candidate Description

  • Knowledge of Security Controll room procedures

  • High level of customer Service

  • Team Player

  • Health and safety awareness and knowledge

  • Good Communication,

  • 5 years checkable work history

  • Current SIA license (preferable)

  • First Aid at work

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to compile detailed reports

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to digest and follow detailed Procedures

  • Positive attitude

  • The correct right to work documents
