The BBC are recruiting Security Officers to confidently secure the BBC Central Square site. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at BBC Walesu2019s new flagship building in the heart of the city centre. Located at Central Square, the area has been recently developed and work is still continuing.u00a0All successful candidates are subject to BS7858 security clearance. A clear 5 year checkable work/ education history is therefore imperative for recruiters throughout the selection process.What we are offering Security Officer:Pay rate: u00a39.50 per hourHours: 42 hours per week - 4 on 4 off days & nightsFully funded uniformPeoples pensionAnnual leave: 20 daysFull training provided.Opportunity to work additional hours on events and ad hoc duties when requested by the client. Candidate Description

Required to have 5 Year UK Historyu00a0A Full UK Driving licence is desirable.SIA Security licence, Front line Security Guarding, Door Supervisionu00a0and hold a validu00a0certificate.Personal SpecificationThe relief security officer will need to be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude.The relief security officer should be able to work on own initiative.Corporate Security experience.Ability to travel to various sites.Flexible Approach to work to suit the business needs.Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.It is important the Security Officer is calm under pressure.Understand the Health and Safety at Work Act, relevant Criminal, Civil Law and Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
