As our new Recruitment Marketing Apprentice, you'll play a vital role in this as you assist with a wide range of candidate attraction activities including social media management, events, online advertising, and content production (and much more). As you support our Recruitment Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator, you'll also be picking up essential marketing knowledge and skills as you study for a level three Digital Marketing Apprenticeship.

  • It is essential that you are able to travel at least once a week to the Serco Office in Homer Road, Solihull to arrive on time for work. In addition, there may be UK travel to support assessments, events and open days as required.

  • You will be required to undergo security checks, which includes a check of criminal records. You will also be required obtain SC security clearance.

  • You will also need to complete an on-line initial assessment as part of the recruitment process. This will help us guide you to the most appropriate programme to meet your needs.

Candidate Description

To be successful in recruitment marketing you need to be organised, able to plan and prioritize, and be a real people person. So as well as good verbal and written communication skills you'll be someone who is naturally organized and comfortable dealing with a variety of tasks. You'll be speaking with stakeholders and with other members of the team on a daily basis, so you'll need confidence and professionalism even when under pressure. In addition to this you will be creative and open to developing new ideas.

We use a variety of online tools and technology, so you'll be happy working with MS Office applications and can easily turn your hand to new online systems. Lastly, you'll need to have between an A* and C in Maths and English (or 9 to 4 under the new grading system) and have a strong interest in Marketing.
