Help us "Go one better" as the face of our Leeds office reception, You'll be the welcoming face to visitors and colleagues in our central Leeds office. This role includes all the usual responsibilities of a busy corporate reception desk. You'll meet and greet visitors face to face, and deal with a busy phone line - fielding calls and getting queries through to the right person.
You'll play a part in new starter training and inductions, as well as looking after visitors who come in day to day, making sure people have secure access to the right areas of the building. You'll assist with booking rooms, booking taxis and generally ensuring that people feel welcome and safe whilst they're onsite.
You'll be responsible for processing cheque payments, managing ingoing and outgoing post and deliveries, and (very importantly) keep an eye on coffee machines - making sure our on-site team keep them fully stocked and running like clockwork throughout the day.
You'll take responsibility for aspects of security and health and safety, including keeping a close eye on usage and availability of visitors passes, key fobs and staff passes. You'll also take ownership of regular fire alarm tests and evacuation checks and recording any incidents that take place on the premises.
We're looking for a friendly and professional person to join our busy office team. You must take a genuine interest in people and have the desire to give everyone a good experience, face to face or over the phone.
Excellent communication skills are essential, and you must be adaptable, patient and customer focused, with the ability to multi-task. Good IT skills Microsoft Office / Word / Excel) are essential too.
Accuracy and attention to detail will help you manage your work and keep on top of tasks.
We expect you to cover shift patterns between 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, so an early and a later finish with cross over in the middle (to cover other receptionist's breaks)
