Across The Great Western Hospital, Swindon we provide Total Facilities Management. Within our Facilities and Estates team on site, we are currently looking to recruit for a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent works projects undertaken as part of the rolling programme across the estate. There is a wide variety of life cycle, trust variation and minor works projects covering all disciplines.
This is an opportunity to work at a critical site within a highly skilled workforce and control Estates Projects from feasibility through to post-occupancy and have a real impact on site across a range of projects. While working closely with colleagues (such as other Project Managers, Mechanical, Electrical and Building Fabric Estates teams), this role will look to seek continual improvement of Serco's building surveying and associated processes to ensure the team can continue to deliver a high level of work. You must have previous experience of managing multiple projects within a facilities or construction environment. Ideally holding a relevant Project Management qualification, the post-holder will ideally also hold a degree level qualification in a construction or building services related discipline in an M&E biased role.
You'll possess the following qualification and skills as a minimum:
Knowledge or qualifications in at least one trade area to HNC or equivalent.
Ability to use MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint to their full potential.
Numerically literate with basic understanding of corporate finances.
360-degree communication skills.
