Job Description

Do you have what it takes to be a Project Manager with Securitas?, We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join our dynamic Chief Technical Office team on a Permanent basis. This role is perfect for anyone who is looking to progress their career within the Security industry or looking to expand their project management experience across new market sectors.

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects in line with a set of defined technical, managerial and commercial objectives.

This purpose of the Project Manager is to ensure the project deliverables are completed safely, on time, in budget, witness tested and formally signed off by the buyer.

The main responsibilities for this role will be split into two main groups, these are outlined below.

Pre-Mobilisation Project Planning

Collaborating with the Design Lead pre-contract to determine Prelim resource allocations and the production of Level 2 Programmes. You will also collaborate with the Design Lead post contract facilitate an informed handover of the contract brief to the Project Implementation team from the Design Team

You will contribute toward or create a Project Initiation Documentation (PID) in collaboration with the Buyer, Design Lead and named project stakeholders.

The Project Initiation Documentation will consist of:-

  • The Programme Definition: Objectives, Operational Requirements, Desired Outcomes, Success Criteria, Constraints and Assumptions.

  • Stakeholder and Communication Management: Methods and recipients.

  • Programme Management: Programme approach, controls and plan including RACI Matrix (persons Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed).

  • Risk and Quality Management: Strategy for delivery, scope change, testing, commissioning and sing-off.

  • Weekly Status Reports, their content and format e.g. RAG status reporting

    Mobilisation and Project Implementation

  • You will work closely with stakeholders to qualify the project planning process and PID is complete and fit for purpose.

  • Generate project specific Risk Assessments and Method Statement (RAMS), submit and track approval status.

  • Mobilise the implementation team.

  • Conduct daily Tool Box talks with the implementation team.

  • Ensure the implementation team is equipped with the correct tools, are in good condition and electrically certified where appropriate.

  • Ensure the implementation team is equipped with and wearing the correct PPE.

  • Ensure the implementation team is equipped with job specific RAMS and Day Work books to log ad-hoc scope changes and record re-assessed point of works RAMS.

  • Ensure the working face at every location is correctly safeguarded to prevent accidents and injury to engineers and persons in the vicinity.

Candidate Description

You will ensure subcontractors deliver their scope on time, on budget, in compliance with CDM 2015, Site H&S guidelines and mandates. You will need to manage and maintain commercial and classified confidentiality throughout the project and that rules governing the buyer's Information Security (InfoSec) are fully complied with at all times.

You must have experience in designing and delivering complex physical and electronic security solutions to be suitable for this role.,

  • Be either SC / DV Cleared or be willing to go through SC Clearance, SC / DV Clearence is prefered but not necessary, you must be willing to undergo SC Clearence if you do not already have this
