Job Description

  • An accurate and up to date view of the compliance of Mitie suppliers vs. key measures of performance, including those for Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance; and relationship / service performance.

  • An accurate view of the levels of benefits delivered by Procurement (Savings, value improvements etc) to support planning & reporting

  • An outstanding service provided to all Procurement, Functional leads and BU stakeholders

  • Demonstrable application of agreed procurement policies, procedures and approach, using agreed technology, highlighting improvement areas and potential fixes

    Tasks:

  • Engage with stakeholders, suppliers and other sources of information to support delivery of key Procurement Performance and Compliance reporting. Specific tasks include: + Find, collate and update our systems from a range of different sources: both public and within Mitie; and via automated and manual processes. + Use of appropriate processes and technology to ensure that Procurement maximise total value delivery for Mitie and its customers + Report performance of initiatives improving Mitie's ethical and sustainable sourcing credentials + Support the implementation of new technologies and processes to continually improve Mitie's procurement capability & delivery + Conduct bid support, maintain data integrity, answer sourcing enquiries, undertake contract mobilisation, create procurement communications and capture market intelligence for the Mitie procurement function + Ongoing support for Mitie's Supplier Relationship Management program + Measure Supplier Performance (contractual KPIs and SLAs) address performance gaps with suppliers and escalate as required + Accurately report on Procurement metrics and KPIs to monitor performance + Support engagement and procurement strategy improvement groups + Help to improve Procurement NPS through addressing feedback from internal (& external) customers + Take on ad hoc project work as rerquested

Candidate Description

Essential:

  • A track record in manging the delivery of key performance measures and working as part of a team

  • Experience in delivering compliance reporting programmes as part of a team.

  • The ability to prioritise and support multiple projects and tasks to deliver business benefits to agreed deadlines

  • First class interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to influence, challenge and negotiate with wide range of knowledgeable clients, suppliers and colleagues

  • Knowledge of sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, contracting, and negotiation

    Desirable:

  • Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience

  • MCIPS qualified, or working towards

  • Experience in Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance certification programmes

  • Been involved in major transformation and change programs

  • FAcilities Mnagement or related industry experiemce
