Job Description

In the role of Privacy Manager you will support Vodafone Business's Global Privacy Program by providing: (1) strategic, operational and other day to day privacy advice and support to the business; (2) advice, review and support to Vodafone Business products, services, strategic solutions and contracts; (3) advice on and monitor implementation of Privacy Controls across your area of responsibility, and improve maturity of Privacy Policy, Standards, Process and Patterns.,

  • Give strategic, legal and operational privacy advice, as well as review and support deployment and launch of Vodafone products, services and operations;

  • Provide legal privacy advise and support customer & supplier contract negotiations;

  • Analyse and efficiently communicate legal and regulatory changes and trends to internal business stakeholders, providing relevant recommendations and actionable solutions;

  • Advice, support and manage privacy compliance program and addressing of privacy risks, within area of responsibility;

  • Support and monitor creation, implementation and improvement of Policy, Standards, Process and Patterns within area of responsibility to improve maturity.

Candidate Description

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant privacy expertise is preferable;

  • Comprehensive knowledge of EU legislation governing privacy, cybersecurity and law enforcement assistance, and good understanding of global privacy landscape in technology, telecommunication and online businesses.

  • Excellent command of English, and interpersonal, oral and written communication and public speaking skills.

  • Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with tolerance for ambiguity. Persistence to drive change over time.

  • Results oriented, proactive, responsible, pragmatic and ethical person with a passion for privacy and interest in technologies and their societal impact.

  • Experience in drafting data processing terms, compliance policies and processes.
