Amazon Web Services (AWS), is seeking a talented individual with a deep understanding and experience in the field of clinical imaging. As a Principal Business Developer in Clinical Imaging within AWS, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (e.g., Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, and Amazon CloudFront, Amazon Comprehend Medical) directly with customers and our ecosystem of system integrators and solution providers in the clinical imaging space. This person will be a highly motivated Principal Business Developer in Clinical Imaging to help accelerate our growing healthcare business as part of the World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) practice. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers across healthcare organizations to deepen our relationships, working with strategic industry partners, attending and speaking at industry events to drive thought leadership, and creating significant business opportunities for AWS Public Sector. You will work cross functionally with AWS teams around the world (e.g. sales, solution architect and professional services teams), helping healthcare organizations leverage AWS workloads to leverage the full potential of medical imaging data for improved patient outcomes and unparalleled discoveries. You will also work with AWS Partners (e.g. system integrators, solution providers) shaping and executing the strategy of bringing AWS Services to healthcare payers, provider, healthcare public agencies and medical research organizations.

• The right person will be a clinician or researcher with at least 15 years of experience in healthcare delivery or medical research

• Strong leadership skills are key, with proven verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

• Proven experience with image processing applications

• Demonstrable experience in medical imaging technologies (radiology and/or pathology)

• Relevant business or technical leadership, product management, business development, program or project management, and/or operations experience in and around information technologies

• Master's degree in a medical or business related field

• Experience in healthcare privacy and security compliance including GDPR/HIPAA.,

• Experience in creating and articulating compelling value propositions around technology solutions

• Experience in developing and executing technical strategy across a multi-country geography

• Familiarity with high performance computing environments and machine learning approaches

• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals

• Qualified healthcare professional
