Shift: Wed - Sat Nights Expected Start Date: ASAP An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Trainer role within the Learning and Development team in Doncaster. If you love a challenge, have experience in fast paced operational environments, and have a passion for learning, we want you on our team, as a member of the Learning team in our Fulfilment Centres. The team supports Amazon's goals in improving safety, quality, productivity and the overall customer experience. The Learning and Development team is responsible for supporting change within the FC and for ensuring all associates have the appropriate skills and knowledge to carry out their functional roles. The team is also responsible for inductions, cross training, skills assessment and more. You will need a full in date accredited (ITSSAR, AITT, or RTITB) CAT1 PIT Trainer license to perform in this role. Responsibilities: + Deliver internal Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training to Amazon standards + Complete all relevant paperwork and update Learning tracking systems + Monitor and provide feedback on current group of PIT operators + Report on safety performance of PIT operators and use the information to improve the effectiveness of our training + Undertake auditing of safety standards and procedures throughout the FC + Advise Associates and Managers on Company + procedures regarding PIT safety, training and standards + Know their own level of competence and not give information outside this level + Flexibility on hours to cover holidays and all shift patterns will be required

Candidate Description

  • CAT 1 PIT trainer license + Attention to detail + Proven ability to work to targets and deadlines + Proven ability to quickly learn and effectively adhere to new processes and procedures + Ability to work under the minimum of supervision + Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business + Contribute to a positive team environment + Drive, enthusiasm and self-motivation + PC Skills including a advanced working Microsoft packages + Effective English verbal and written communication skills + Support the wider Amazon FC network and be available to travel and work at different locations spending time away from home You will need a full in date accredited (ITSSAR, AITT, or RTITB) CAT1 PIT Trainer license to perform in this role. Preferred qualifications + 2 Years in a learning related role. + Demonstrates a methodical approach to tasks.
