Job Description

Here at Serco we're helping the UK Government address the challenges posed by Coronavirus - and to actively support them in combating the spread of the disease we're now recruiting for a Project Manager and Reporting Supervisor to oversee vital testing programmes in the Nottingham region.

Reporting to the Deputy Site Manager, this role will see you provide specific project and reporting support to the site management team and assist with daily duties as instructed by the Site Manager/Deputy Site Manager. Other tasks will include:

  • Supporting the RTS Site Management team and the Regional Time & Attendance manager ensuring staff rotas, hours, and any additional administrative support requirements for Shopworks are accurately recorded and reported.

  • Collaborate with the Regional MTU, Supply & Inventory manager ensuring RTS site requirements are accurately reflected in any central project scoping, and efficiently executed during implementation (e.g. Service Now/Ctrl Cloud).

  • Collaborate with and the Regional Security, Compliance and Assurance manager ensuring RTS site requirements are accurately reflected in any central project scoping, and efficiently executed during implementation (e.g. DHSC audits & compliance centre requirements).

  • Supports and represents RTS Site Management as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the test centre, liaising the Virtual Operational Command Centre (VOCC) to ensure contract reporting deadlines are adhered to and information requests responded to promptly.

  • Be responsible for regulatory data compliance throughout the RTS ensuring confidential information is managed in accordance with government legislation and guidelines (e.g. GDPR).

  • Be responsible for the timely production and delivery of RTS site management information reports for internal and external (DHSC) use. Maintains an efficient and effective systems of record to ensure Serco and regulatory compliance.

    Full NHS PPE will be provided; however, we must insist that applicants are not shielding and have no underlying health issues. Your safety is of paramount importance.

Candidate Description

First and foremost, you will be an experienced project manager with excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Word, Exel and Powerpoint.

It would be beneficial if you have experience of web based applications such as Service Now, Shopworks, etc.

It is important that you have experience of time and attendance management, training and development administration and are able to work effectively under pressure.

Strong communication skills are essential, as well as a professional approach and good attention to detail.

This role is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with some weekend work where required.

Due to the necessity for travel between sites, it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role and are happy to travel between sites in the Nottingham area.
