Job Description

To discharge duties in line with SLP 1.05.01Carry out scoping to define task detail and methodologyTo proactively facilitate stakeholder discussions upon request to ensure consultation and engagement with key stakeholdersSelection and agreement of an appropriate safe system of work to ensure suitable control appropriate to task riskTo identify, engage and book supporting resources for 3rd party enabling works such as scaffolding, health physics monitors, asbestos survey/sampling or supportingTo compile a suitable and sufficient workpack to facilitate works including various docuiment including risk assessment, method statement, permits, isolations, drawings and additional supporting information where required.To facilitate and ensure that a suitable and sufficient risk assessment is prepared to effectively identify and control risks.Defining, with the stakeholders, the level of supervision required and who is accountable for supervision of safety.To define the competency requirements of the taskTo archive Safe Systems of Work documentation, in accordance with document control procedures

Candidate Description

ExperienceRelevant experience in Electrcial, Mechanical or Civil disciplines is desirableMust have ability to professionally liaise with client respresentatives and management.Be able to organise work and liaise with operational teams to deliverGood general knowledge of health and safety, facilities services and operational practices would be advantageous.u00a0Sound understanding of nuclear site procedures and practicesu00a0u00a0Additional SkillsIOSH Managing Safely certificate or aboveFull clean driving licenseGood time management skillsComputer literacy is desirable.
