Who we’re looking for We’re currently recruiting for an Packing Manager to join our London kitchen, to manage and support our talented multi-skilled teams in creating high quality and delicious Bigham’s dishes, in accordance with our exceptional manufacturing and safety standards. As well as your technical expertise in this field, we’ll be looking for you to contribute energy, enthusiasm and collaboration to ensure a great team dynamic. What you’d be doing Reporting to the Production Manager, your main responsibilities will be: Looking after the safety of your teams and the work environment Achieving all agreed food production targets Delivering efficiency improvements in line with our business strategy Installing, embedding and developing LEAN production methods Working with the wider production management team to plan or implement continuous improvement schemes Keeping all necessary databases, customer service logs and other records up to date A full job description is attached at the top of the page. What you’ll bring to the table We’re looking for someone who is highly-organised and always striving to improve on production processes, while considering the environmental impact. You’ll be motivated, keen to work with others and able to support and develop your team members. You’ll also be eager to progress your own career, taking advantage of the training opportunities we offer via the Bigham’s Academy. Requisite experience and skills for this role are: Demonstrable experience of managing a team in a food production environment Understanding and experience of LEAN techniques such as root cause analysis Budget management, planning and reporting expertise Degree qualified (or equivalent) professional certificate or diploma Food Safety Level 2 HACCP Certificate Proven people management skills and experience in directly managing large diverse teams successfully What we can offer you Charlie Bigham’s is an innovative and fast-growing company that values and rewards the great people in its teams.
