The goal of Amazon Logistics is to build a world class last mile delivery operation. Amazon aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and in the most cost effective way possible. Central Operations refers to a new approach within Amazon Logistics to define a scalable solution to run the increasingly complex and growing last mile delivery network. Central Operations is a key strategic initiative with a vision to transform the way AMZL executes forecasting, route planning, demand scheduling and last mile delivery. We are looking for a Network Change Analyst with a strong delivery record and proven change management experience to own tactical, cross-functional projects and programs within Central Operations. This role requires ownership of program plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process changes. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): · Work across multiple stakeholder groups, building collaborative relationships, coordinating with stakeholders, and working with operational teams to lead or build the resources needed to launch operations and/or implement change. · Build and maintains programs, processes and tools for enabling the field to succeed in launching / implementing change. · Manage and/or execute the implementation of change in existing stations, including:, train-the-trainer sessions and post-implementation/launch audits · Working directly with external stakeholders, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions · Engage and earn trust of operational leaders across EU AMZL to help drive standardization of process and execution framework · Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for changes, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions. · Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers · Manage strategic planning and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence.
· Bachelor's Degree or higher · 4+ years of progressive responsibility in program, change or operations management · Experience launching, operating, or implementing change in an operational environment · Experience in executing solutions in a fast paced, high growth, operational business environment · Experience managing, negotiating, and communicating with internal business partners · Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures across geographically distributed teams · Proven analytical capabilities; experience developing audit reports and metrics decks · Problem solving skills and the ability to quantitatively analyse challenges, scope technical requirements, and effectively prioritize deliverables, · Master's degree/MBA in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field · Experience in a program management or operational role within a parcels, logistics, last mile delivery, gig economy, or supply chain environment · Wide knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies · In-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and its practical usage · Demonstrable training and dissemination skills and experience
