Job Description

A number of new opportunities have arisen within our Networks Performance and Optimisation team for Team Leaders/Managers. Through regional optimisation your focus will be to manage a regional radio performance and optimisation team (circa 8-12 Engineers), the various suppliers and partners and to get the best network performance for your customers in the region. You will also support our National Planning, Design and Optimisation system functions with current and future innovations to ensure best practise, implementing global parameter sets and resolving network wide performance and system level issues. In addition, you will play an active part in process improvement activities, budgeting and reporting to Senior Stakeholders.

Candidate Description

  • A strong understanding of 2G, 3G and 4G Radio network technology (a broad understanding of Network Planning, Deployment, Optimisation and Performance)

  • Resource management and Team leading experience

  • Experience of managing stakeholders, suppliers and virtual teams to meet challenging timescales

  • The ability to communicate performance messages across Technology, Business units and globally

  • Communicating updates to the different departments on key strategy and performance metrics

  • Budget management skill highly desirable

  • Vendor Management experience (Ericsson, Huawei)
