Job Description

  • Working with the contract team, Net Zero SME's and customer representatives to successfully scope the Net Zero transition programme reflecting scope of works, client targets and regional policy frameworks

  • Defining the ambitions of the programme and establishing the appropriate framework structure with defined terms of reference and a supporting governance programme

  • Preparation and maintenance of risk and opportunity registers signed off by both the Alliance Director and the client representative

  • Agreeing programme targets in terms of timeline and identifying specific measurements of success which can be evidenced quarterly as part of the governance structure

  • Facilitating a value chain review to identify systemic stakeholders, policy risks and opportunities and key dependencies ensuring a feedback loop is established to capture potential oversights

  • Preparation of a prioritised deployment programme of Net Zero initiatives based on steps one to five with a clear timeline and allocated resource including client representation

  • Management of scheduled review meetings maintaining the governance structure and using this as the gateway for amendments or additions to the deployment programme

  • Manage the interface between the client and the programme SME's ensuring that collaboration and momentum are maintained escalating to the Alliance Director any developing issues which will impact performance

  • Support the preparation of business cases for additional Net Zero workstreams identified as activities evolve

  • Issue monthly updates to the Alliance Director and E & S Director of the programme progress including changes to the risk and opportunity register

  • Manage escalations relating to risks such as KPI's, financial overspends, programme delays, and data gaps

Candidate Description

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent through experience in a relevant subject

  • Experience of change management operating within a deployed governance structure

  • Strategic thinker comfortable operating at a Senior Level to shape programme direction while having the background to deploy systemic thinking

  • A capable facilitator and collaborator with a good understanding of team dynamics and what is involved in leading change

  • An engaging leader who draws out the best from individuals & teams enabling delivery of challenging objectives in both project and operational environments

  • Experience of business transformation, enabling improvements through both evolution and revolution

  • Experience of working in Real Estate and with operational exposure to sectors such as financial services, professional services, technology, and pharmaceuticals

  • Ability to communicate with clients and other key stakeholders on issues such as climate change, net zero emissions, ESG, and decarbonisation

  • Financially skilled with a capability of producing business cases with supporting evidence

  • Able to build strong, professional client relationships and proactively identifies and resolves client's issues

  • Key focus for this role is to ensure that all FM services are delivered in a confident and efficient manner

  • Service orientated attitude combined with innovative thinking

  • Practical experience in working with supply partners to deliver a seamless, integrated service

  • Customer services experience and the ability to communicate at all levels
