Amazon Logistics (AMZL) delivers packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. The UK's Last Mile team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who are eager to learn and think strategically to develop the UK's Last Mile Delivery Service Partners (DSP's). As a DSP National Supplier Manager you will manage and develop the contractual and business relationship and development of the largest DSP providers supporting AMZL UK. The role will manage performance and regulatory compliance for nominated accounts. The role will also take responsibility for a number of network wide major programs and deployments related to the UK DSP model involving multiple UK and EU stakeholders.

The role will report to a Senior DSP Manager

General Responsibilities: · Supports deployment of UK DSP Model goals that support overall organizational goals and direction. · Develop account review processes that drive strategic partnerships with DSP's. · Work with the largest UK DSP's to create 2 year account plans prioritizing DSP performance, compliance, growth and alignment to Amazons business development. · Develop key strategic and tactical communication updates to large DSP accounts ensuring their model aligns to UK and EU change programs and vision. · Lead strategic development with internal stakeholders in programs which affect the DSP model. · Align with UK and EU stakeholders to develop effective DSP and driver engagement strategies. · Is the AMZL expert on UK courier industry related trends and developments and provides insight to senior AMZL management to support 1-3 year DSP model strategic planning. · Manage multiple medium to large projects simultaneously requiring network wide deployment. · Create or utilize reporting and analytics, data modelling, and business case analysis to create a continuous improvement cycle in the DSP model · Develop processes to select and award DSP business growth opportunities within the UK business functions. · Provide all DSP owners advice and support on key changes within the DSP model on a weekly basis through virtual office style engagement. · Describe strategic importance of vision inside and outside of team · Set and articulate expectations around leadership behavior for team; models behavior that exemplifies the leadership principles

Work Environment: · The role is field based managing DSP accounts and implementation of nationwide programs so will require travel across the UK. · Flexibility will be required to support additional areas during holiday periods. · Work with a high level of autonomy to effectively plan your time and deliver to deadlines. · There may be adjustments including, working additional days during peak seasons and other factors

Candidate Description

· Bachelor's Degree · Experience of Supplier or Commercial Account Management Strategy. · Tenacity to develop ideas independently considering multiple stakeholders and requirements. · Strong written and verbal communication skills to support influencing and presenting new ideas to multiple managerial levels within AMZL and DSP. · Analytical with excellent problem solving skills to improve current processes. · Proficient in Excel

· MBA Preferred · Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives. · Understanding of continuous improvement techniques to drive change. · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities simultaneously · Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment. · Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment
