· Manage Amazon Launchpad Europe's startup recruitment business, which sources and account manages startups, helping them to launch and grow their businesses within the Amazon Launchpad programme by ensuring they understand our products, services, systems, and tools · Lead, motivate, develop, and promote your direct reports · Develop relationships with multiple internal teams, including those across Europe and in the USA · Drive startup marketing initiatives to grow their brands in European countries · Develop an analytical recruitment strategy to improve the efficiency of Amazon Launchpad business development efforts and own the plan for 2021 and beyond · Own the creation of benefits for new-to-programme startups, and launch these benefits worldwide and to other teams · Create and expand relationships with external partners, including venture capital firms, crowdfunding companies, accelerators, and up-and-coming startup companies · Deliver and report on a set of business development targets for the team's portfolio of startups · Source leads from global startup conferences/events and establish Amazon Launchpad's presence in the global startup community · Use the feedback from the startups your teams manages to identify opportunities to improve our products, services, processes, systems, and tools for all of our selling partners · Work with different parts of the Amazon business to implement improvement projects

Candidate Description

· Bachelor's degree · 7+ years of experience in business management and/or programme development · 4+ years of strategic planning and ownership · Outstanding interpersonal skills: decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams in different geographies, business units, and industries · Strong analytical skills with an ability to anticipate, collect, and use relevant data · Exceptional ability to solve problems and coordinate with global team members · Ability to innovate in issues related to process/programme development and maintenance · Excellent business judgement, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done

· Fluency in multiple European languages · SQL and Microsoft Excel fluency · Attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities · Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes · Proven track record of continually advocating on behalf of your internal and external customers · Ability to succeed in an ambiguous, fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organisation
