Job Description

The Classification Specialist Manager is responsible for leading a team of Classification Specialists whose responsibilities include classifying, auditing and correcting data in our retail catalog. The role requires project management skills, strong analytical & communication skills, as well as ability to pay attention to details.

Core responsibilities for this position include: · Project management of classification and audit projects · Responsibility for specific daily projects along with monitoring and maintaining quality control of existing data · Driving daily productivity and quality goals · Provide on-going support and feedback to Classification Specialists via regular 1:1s and team meetings with a focus on improving productivity and quality of the team · Assist in removing any technical blockers and identify technical improvement areas · Ensuring audit tasks are performed in accordance with set guidelines · Reporting audit results and communicate them to others within the organization · Communication with browse development and auto-classification teams globally · Driving and implementing independently small projects related to coverage and accuracy

Candidate Description

· Excellent English language skills · Proven experience in cataloging and/or indexing OR experience in e-commerce environments · Project management experience · Analytical skills, including research skills, ability to interpret data, ability to conceptualize and analyze information · Ability to handle a high volume of work on a regular basis · Detail oriented · Ability to work quickly, decisively, and independently · Proven track record in a fast-paced, multitasking environment · Ability to take initiative to identify and solve problems · Basic computer business application skills such as MS Word and MS Excel, Outlook

· Undergraduate Bachelor degree in one of the following fields: Information Science, Library Science, Translation, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent · People management experience · Additional knowledge of an European Language (Swedish or Dutch) · Working experience in online retail operations or other Internet application fields
