To identify & carry out all general routine maintenance requirements on site
To ensure planned preventative maintenance is undertaken and completed as per work schedule requests
To be aware of the company's quality management system and in particular, to follow any quality assurance work instructions that is applicable to this job
To carry out other duties dictated by the requirements of the business
To ensure the workshops area is kept clean and tidy
To attend to any reasonable management request,
To work within the M&E team and to assist with the maintenance, upkeep and refurbishment of the premises and assets as contracted
Ensure all reactive and project works are completed within allocated timescales
Co-ordination with the helpdesk, mobile engineering team and administration team for closure of tasks
To liaise and work with site and sub-contractors/specialists as required
To provide exceptional service in line with best practice, statutory and mandatory compliance
Fitting in and complying with both Sodexo and Client site protocols
Adhere to all protocol and H&S requirements at all times
Carry out multi skilled activities within the contracted remit
Be part of the OOH emergency on call team
Assist other Sodexo departments when required
Duties may include, but not limited to:
Minor roofing & guttering repairs
General building fabric repairs/ maintenance - masonry repairs on external walls or steps, laying slabs
Install fixtures & Fittings (Toilet roll holders, soap dispensers, feminine hygiene units, whiteboards, picture frames, etc)
Minor pothole repairs - cold pour tarmac
Repairs to walls, floors, and doors
Repairing, changing & fitting fixtures (Locks, Snibs, Door Closers)
Tiling walls and floors, repairs to same
Painting
Small plumbing repairs, blocked toilets/ sinks, fitting toilet seats, sink tap & pipework leaks
Fixing blinds, mounting signage, furniture moving and repair
Escort sub contractors around site as and when required
Possible re lamping / diffuser changes
Any other duties as reasonably required

Experience within the following systems
Plumbing skills
Understanding of Lamp changing process and hazards.,
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
Good knowledge and experience in general fabric maintenance and repair
Ability to use and handle hand tools and power tools correctly and safely
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with a positive attitude
A willingness to assist in non-skilled tasks and general labouring duties
Good communication skills.
Flexible
Ability to meet deadlines
Hold current driving licence
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Prolonged periods standing and walking
Working in high noise levels requiring hearing protection
Ability to work at height
