Job Description

CBRE are recruiting for a successful Lister/ Assistant Manager to join our busy residential lettings team. With our presence in the residential market rapidly increasing, coupled with CBRE's future growth plans we are looking for an outstanding performer, who has experience working within a letting agency and continually hitting or exceeding targets. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious property professional that is hoping to fast track their career within lettings. We are looking for someone to spearhead our geographical expansion of the East London team beyond E14. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Estate Agency and have the necessary attributes to be a champion of CBRE and our residential lettings business. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving market share in an established business

  • Generate new and repeat market appraisal opportunities

  • Conduct market appraisals

  • Secure instructions

  • Operate within defined CBRE processes and procedures

  • Ensure all instructions are compliant

  • Market properties and provide viewing feedback to landlords

  • Negotiate and agree offers

  • Manage team performance

  • Oversee the smooth running of the team as and when required

  • Consistently striving to grow the Lettings department

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all parties

Candidate Description

  • Previous Estate Agency experience is essential

  • Experience listing residential lettings properties

  • Full clean driving licence

  • Good understanding of regulations and legislation governing residential lettings

  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)

  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority

  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met

  • Must be sales orientated with strong customer service levels Person Specification/Requirements
