Job Description

Delivery of training courses across the GSK contract both in-personal and virtual training sessions, including the creation of course materials where requiredIn-person delivery of training courses including accredited external training across all areas of identified training needs across the contract.Manage training requirements in the GSK e-learning system, the Mitie e-learning system and learning and training delivered outside of the e-learning systems to support delivery of services which Mitie (and their third parties) provide to GSK. These services include Distribution and Logistics, Document Solutions, GMP cleaning, Pest control, Lab services, Records services, Technical lab services, contract management, waste disposal, lab instrument services and facilities management (e.g. buildings/equipment maintenance, calibration, qualification).Ensure 100% training compliance across all learning and development activitiesAct as a liaison between the contract and central Mitie iniatives relating to learning and development and be the key point of contact for learning and development matters on the GSK contractAct as an active promoter and champion of learning and development opportunities across the contract, championing mandatory compliance training, internal training initiatives, apprenticeships, and externally accredited training opportunities. Liaise with line managers to implement and manage development plans for all employees across the contract.This role will consist of circa 80% training delivery and circa 20% completing associated administrative tasksThis role will be expected to travel regularly (at least weekly) to deliver in-person training to sites across the UK and IrelandThis role will be the main point of contact for all learning and development queries on the contract and will provide support to line managers in implementing development plansThis role will provide accurate and relevant updates on learning and development opportunities within Mitie working closely with the central team

Candidate Description

Excellent IT skills (all Microsoft office packages, previous experience of online learning management systems)Train the Trainer qualificationProven and relevant experience in delivering training courses, preferably within the Facilities Management sectorStrong understanding of legislation surrounding the apprenticeship levy in England and ScotlandExperience of working on client sites and interaction with senior client representativesExcellent communication skills
