This role is about solving our defence customer's complex technological challenges by creating innovative digital solutions. Making use of BT and industry offerings you will transform the way that they can do business in achieving their vision. You will also be providing key technology design and implementation expertise throughout all stages of the solutions design engagement life cycle.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Be an advocate for our company, our customers and our team
Build the right cloud, converged Infrastructure and computing solutions from customer requirements
Provide end-to-end cloud, converged Infrastructure and computing technical design, implementation and accountability throughout the pre-sales and delivery life cycle

Candidate Description
Develop customer relationships and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You'll have the following skills & experience
UKSV Security Check clearance (as a minimum);
Strong understanding of design principles and experience in Compute design, including component design and low-level documentation;
Experienced in Design and Implementation with the following vendors and technologies: o Microsoft, VMware, HPE and DellEMC o Microsoft Operating Systems, Roles, Features and Products (Server, Exchange, Sharepoint & SQL) o Datacenter Virtualisation o Datacenter Server and End User hardware
Understanding of the following: o IP networking protocols o Information IT Library (ITIL)
With some secondary skills in the following: o Scripting for deployment automation o Rational Databases o Linux Operating Systems o Security hardening standards
Aptitude and willingness to learn additional Compute-based technologies;
You will be analytical, a problem-solver with experience of identifying technical risks and how to mitigate them;
You will be able to communicate technical detail at a high level to project personnel and low-level detail to other designers and implementors;

Opportunity to interact and learn off personnel from other technical disciplines, You'll have the following skills & experience
