You'll provide project management capability within the IT and Business Transformation portfolio across ProServ. This will include responsibility for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of projects, ensuring the appropriate governance is applied where necessary. The project lifecycle will be maintained at all stages to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and that agreed objectives are achieved. By overseeing projects, the role will confirm the desired results are achieved through utilising the most efficient resources and ensuring that the different interests involved are satisfied. You'll work closely with the projects team to ensure that the technology projects are aligned to business change. The role is predominantly based at home but may be required to work across Lincolnshire, Peterborough Hertfordshire. What you'll need to do the role: If you are an experienced IT Project Manager with a public sector background, then we want to hear from you! We do ask that as a minimum you have a good background in project management capabilities with evidence of excellent project and programme management knowledge, techniques and approaches. Ideally, you'll be qualified in project management and lastly you'll have proven ability to manage and deliver multiple project/programme work streams within budget and timeframe constraints. Experience of effectively applying business change is highly desirable. With a good understanding of commercial and risk acuity, you'll be easily identify with the business issues and able to proactively manage risks and commercial exposure and a broad understanding of business management principles.
