Here at Serco we're helping the UK Government address the challenges posed by Coronavirus - and to actively support them in combating the spread of the disease we're now recruiting for an IT & Systems Manager to support our Testing Services.

Reporting to the Head of Operations Support, this role will see you provide central management and coordination of all Testing Services' IT equipment and systems, coordinate activity between CS IT and Testing Services, manage IT equipment assets and lead projects to ensure the effective utilisation and control of IT assets and systems across Testing Services.

You will be accountable for ensuring swift employee onboarding and equipment ordering, support set up and user access to Serco systems, producing clear written instruction and user guides for set-up and system activities and acting as the lead administrator and point of contact for ServiceNow and Shopworks applications.

This position will also see you liaise activity between CS IT and Testing Services as well as manage small projects, liaising with CS IT and Serco Group IT services.

Candidate Description

To be successful in this role, we ask that candidates have experience working in a similar role in addition to producing clear, logical and well-written operational reports to tight deadlines, with a good knowledge of operations, IT asset management and strong technical and analytical skills.

Another key area of expertise is demonstrable experience of project delivery and training & development, as well as the ability to work efficiently within a fast paced, pressurised environment.

Due to the requirement for occasional travel to sites, you must hold a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.
