Our stores are packed with thousands of products, from clothes and household items to tinned foods and frozen goods, and without our warehouse teams they wouldn't be on the shelves for our customers. Our warehouse teams pick and organise the right products and ensure they all get to the right stores at the right time - it's a vital part of our supply chain.

If you're looking for a chance to develop in logistics and are studying a logistics focused degree programme, this could be the role for you! The Industrial Placement scheme is designed to support our core operation. The role is based in Asda's head office in Leeds as part of the ALS team or the dotcom team based in Rochdale for toyou. This will give you the opportunity to learn about the operation on the front line and from a head office perspective alongside developing your leadership and management skills.

Candidate Description

We are looking for students, who are hungry to learn and grow with our business. The industry is constantly changing and therefore the ability to innovate, problem solve and adapt in a challenging environment is essential. Whilst being creative is key, solutions must be realistic and commercially viable.

You'll be able to build strong relationships and a network around you, as you'll work closely with your mentors on the development programme. You'll be able to work in a fast paced environment and be adaptable to change, whilst being passionate about doing the right thing for our customer's by driving quality and adhering to process. You'll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results.

As part of your application, either on your CV or as a cover note, please include any relevant experience of logistics or supervisory roles along with any skills and personal qualities you would bring to the role (50-100 words).
