Our Citizen Services division is entering a new and exciting phase of its journey and we are looking to expand Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Team. We are recruiting two HSE Managers to join us on our journey in driving the success and safety of the Citizen Services division as we continue to deliver vital public services to customers and communities every day. About the Role:If you are looking for your next challenge, working across a large multi-disciplined public services organisation then this is the role for you! The key element of your role as HSE Manager is to provide a range of on-site and remote support to our public domain contracts. You will provide competent, professional quality, health, safety and environmental support and guidance to our Citizen Services contracts (Leisure, Environmental, Cycle Hire Scheme and General Office contracts). You will be the main point of contact for HSE matters, ensuring that industry best practice, company & regulatory compliance and governance is adhered to fully. This is a varied role with a wide scope of responsibilities where no two days will be the same! From one day to the next you could be visiting our Refuse Collectors on site from where they operating to attending board meeting with our senior stakeholders. Some of your key duties will include (but not limited to) incident management, designing and conducting QHS&E training, conducting investigations, attending HSE meetings, supporting with the preparation of HSE assessments, ensure contract documentation is compliant, perform audits and inspections and more. What you'll need to do the role: If you are already an experienced HSE Manager who has worked across public services with a NEBOSH certificate then we want to hear from you! A relevant qualification in fire safety as well as construction health & safety would be beneficial. Ideally you will also be a trained trainer (e.g. HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training) and qualified to carry out noise and vibration assessments. You will also ideally have experience of working within facilities management working in an operational role and understand the risks facing the wide range of services. Whilst these roles are home based, our requirements are for the Midlands and London area, however our contracts are located throughout the UK therefore the willingness and ability to travel within all regions of the UK and a valid UK driver`s licence is essential.
