We are currently seeking a seasoned HSE Manager to lead Sodexo HSE teams at our energy client's sites across the U.K. The successful candidate will maintain expert knowledge of current health & safety legislation and will lead their team to provide sound advice to the business on HSE issues whilst managing delivery of strategic initiatives across the region. As part of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to travel between sites as well as attend meetings and training around the U.K. Sodexo's Energy & Resources team serves clients across specialist industries: oil & gas; mining and engineering; construction plus other energy sectors. Main Responsibilities Lead health, safety & environment (HSE) across the sites Drive the implementation of Sodexo health & safety and food safety policies and processes across U.K. sites Undertake environmental, health and safety planning for sites, including the setting of goals, agreeing priorities and establishing adequate systems for performance management Support the achievement of global and UK and site targets by review of performance data, implementation of annual HSE plans and development of initiatives Support the achievement of Sodexo Global, UK region and Energy & Resource segment targets by review of performance data and implementation of initiatives Drive operational teams to implement a strong safety culture in alignment with Sodexo Zero harm mindsetThe Ideal CandidateIdeally, you'll be able to demonstrate that you meet all of our essential criteria, however if you're 80% of the way there, we'd still like to hear from you.
