BT have invested in our HR Systems and are implementing SAP SuccessFactors and Fieldglass modules. This is one of the largest SAP implementations in the UK with around 170,000 users in over 50 countries. We are looking for experienced professionals to join us as we make this change journey in a brand new team. So not only are you going to be involved in an exciting transformation programme, you will be shaping the culture of a brand new team.

You will be responsible for the successful management of BT's HR data globally, ensuring robust governance and controls are in place. You will be specifically accountable for creating and maintaining quality data structures, data quality and data integrations ensuring the cost to service for HR service delivery and colleague experience is optimised.

Ensuring you remain knowledgeable of the HR system vendor roadmap, and that best practice data management and leading edge data methodologies and tools are deployed through bringing a strong continuous improvement mind-set to the team.

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Actively promote the consistent application of data management principles across HR systems and processes

  • Lead on defining access management principles for colleague data and partner with Technology colleagues and solutions teams to ensure these are implemented across HR systems

  • Work with HR data owners and technology partners to identify and document current data flows in existing HR architecture. Maintain a logical data model for HR data

  • Work with designated Data Owners and Data Stewards to deliver a data quality improvement plans, setting out clear expectations and responsibilities

  • Responsible for interpreting data to identify improvement opportunities. Partner with the HR systems solution team to research and apply technical solutions to improve underlying quality. Identify and document business rules to enhance existing data quality profiling

Candidate Description

You'll have the following skills & experience

  • Demonstrable data management knowledge: PbD, privacy by design, integration design, reference data management, access management within a SAAS product - role permissions, design.

  • Knowledge of the importance of data protection, security & PbD within HR systems & design

  • Business analysis, requirements gathering

  • Knowledge of integration and/or migration projects

  • An understanding of HR processes and previous exposure to HR data

  • Experience of delivering data led projects in a complex organisation
