To provide day-to-day HR advice, guidance and support to operational and line management and Payroll, ensuring adherence to all legislation, company policies and procedures and all contractual and relevant Home Office standards and best practice:
Providing routine advice and support to managers and staff on the effective implementation of company policies, procedures and best practice: handling a wide range of activities such as:
- Absence management
- Resolving payroll queries
- Staff uniforms
- Training coordination and administration
- Note-taking in disciplinary and grievance meetings
- Contract issue and amendment, liaising with the Mitie central People Support team
You'll have relevant previous experience in an administrative role handling sensitive and confidential information, including pay
You're a clear communicator with a good standard or verbal and written English
Skilled at taking notes and compiling meeting minutes
Confident in basic IT Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
It is advantageous, but not essential, to have any qualifications or accreditation to Level 2 or above: CSE - grade 1, GCSE - grades 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 or grades A*, A, B, C, intermediate apprenticeship, level 2 NVQ, Award, Certificate or Diploma
Helpful, though again not required, if you have achieved a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Qualification, or be working towards one
