You will be paramount in ensuring that the needs of the business including senior management, and that the outputs of the reporting team are considered to be best practice.
As the Head of group Reporting, you will be responsible for all external reporting for the Group and will lead the Group Reporting team. This role is instrumental in managing the integrity of the Group's financial data so you will have strong technical accounting abilities under IFRS and UK GAAP.
This role is also highly visible across the organisation so the individual in place is expected to be a role model leader within the Finance function and deputise for the Group Financial Controller as necessary.

Firstly, you'll need to be a qualified accountant with extensive PQE and experience of audit and a strong academic background. You'll need experience of developing reporting plans and strategies that deliver improved and best practice reporting processes. It's advantageous if you're a technical finance specialist who has worked with or in a complex, multi-national organisation, with the ability to articulate complex accounting concepts to non-finance people. You'll need to demonstrate leadership qualities with evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders. Lastly, you'll need the presence and intellect to obtain trust and respect of senior management., Meaningful and vital work: As part of the Senior Finance Team, you'll be able to strongly influence the finance divisions' efforts that help us to deliver essential services that make a real difference to society.
