Job Description

The Handyman and Logistics coordinator will be responsible for all skilled handyman and maintenance duties and providing logistics assistance at our client's new site. Role Summary:

  • Respond to client requests by executing logistics related tasks

  • Respond to the requests of the operations by carrying out tasked associated with breakdowns

  • Complete Planned Preventative maintenance activities

  • Must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of all systems within the building services environment

  • A strong comprehension of compliance with government legislation

  • Provide effective feed back to the Site Lead to ensure he / she is aware of any Facilities/System/Equipment/Site abnormalities

  • Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training

  • Follow required emergency procedures as documented and to respond accordingly during emergency situations

  • Report all accidents, occupational illnesses, and emergencies

  • Takes responsibility for defects and follow up on any repairs

  • Self-motivated and proactively seek out work

  • Host & induct specialist sub-contractors, and ensure they confirm to site requirements

  • Perform any reasonable task as required by their Supervisor

Candidate Description

  • Strong focus on customer service

  • Computer literate in MS office applications

  • Education level: lower professional education

  • Certifications VCA Basis and NEN 3140

  • 1 - 2 years experience in comparable positions

  • Affinity with repairs

  • Proficient in English
