In your role as a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, your main duties will be to support the Contract Manager/Operations Manager by co-ordinating routine maintenance and additional project work. You will work with the regional operations team to ensure services are delivered to high standards, and expectations are met, building effective relationships with clients. You will also be expected to work with the contract and support teams to ensure quotes are prepared and issued on time to clients. You will provide swift solutions for any requests, complaints or queries - reporting them to the correct department or escalating if need be.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in planning and supervising static and multi-site maintenance works. Grounds Maintenance experience is ideal to best understand the services and attention to detail required by the operational team. You should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety, and management of safe systems associated with the work environment. You should be a self-starter, willing to take the initiative when necessary, and able to lead, motivate and manage your team safely and effectively.
A full driving license is required.
