Job Description

As our Global Product Manager for Connected Buildings , you will be supporting the vision of the Connected Buildings portfolio and be a subject matter expert who will collaborate with colleagues across all of the business. You will translate market and customer needs into clear requirements in order to scout and select the best existing solutions from the market. You will help manage the vertical strategy (1,5-3Y) horizon, following a clear and prioritized roadmap of activities. You'll have work on the full solutions lifecycle for the Connected Building vertical.

What will you be doing?

  • Overseeing product industrialisation procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards

  • Assessiing market competition by comparing the E2E Solutions product offer to those in other marketplaces (competitors' of the E2E IoT Solutions global marketplace) to identify gaps and to prepare the vertical portfolio strategy and its roadmap

  • Providing information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product forecasts and special reports and analyses

  • Performing the business model analysis and determining the solutions pricing strategy by utilising market research data; reviewing Industrialisation and Service costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customised orders

  • Planning and facilitating UX or customer journey workshops with internal and external customers and support the vertical lead in monitoring the realization of benefits and value

  • Working together with the Industrialization Manager in continuous improvement activities

Candidate Description

  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment across multiple time zones

  • Deep knowledge of Vodafone IoT commercial, sales, presales, service support and on boarding processes

  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, presentation, email and social interaction. Ability to communicate in a clear way to commercial, service, sales and product marketing, technology teams and customers

  • Excellent negotiation skills with ability to interact comfortably at department head level

  • Strong decision-making skills - ability to balance conflicting interests

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
