PwC has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Global Mobility Senior Manager to work in our internal Global Mobility (GM) function. The GM team is 12 strong and forms part of the wider Workforce of the Future team. The GM team is responsible for all inbound and outbound international assignments to/from the UK. The PwC GM programme supports UK Firm strategy through helping to strengthen the global network, providing development and opportunity for our people, driving revenues from international investments as well as play an integral role in developing that network. It is critical for the GM function to provide an exceptional global mobility service to both internal clients and its international assignee population., The Global Mobility Senior Manager will lead the day to day team operations including first level escalations from the team of Global Mobility Consultants and acting as the conduit between the GM team and other functions within the firm that we work closely with such as Immigration, Recruitment, Human Capital, Cross-border engagement and Finance. Driving efficiencies within the GM team and also across processes flowing between the other internal functions we work with. In addition to the team operational leadership the GM Senior Manager will also business partner two business units, liaising with the relevant leaders over strategic need and mobility planning. There is also an opportunity to support the Global Mobility Team Leader in driving some of the transformational projects currently ongoing with an objective of aligning to the firm's strategy whilst also enhancing the GM experience for both assignees and the business. Responsibilities
Consult as a technical subject matter expert with their business leaders covering the full lifecycle of PwC's internal suite of global mobility assignment types.
Act as a point of escalation within the GM team as well as for PwC internal teams
Support and coach Global Mobility Consultants on complex case management where applicable
Consult and advise on all technical and compliance aspects of Global Mobility for example individual and Firm's tax and immigration, liaising with relevant subject matter experts as necessary
Has responsibility for ensuring excellent service delivery to internal clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
Has responsibility for driving improved assignee satisfaction through monitoring the transactional delivery of cases
Ensure compliance with in-house Global Mobility policy across the team
Project manage and drive Global Mobility UK and Global priorities aligned to UK Firm strategy
Work closely with GM counterparts around the world to ensure a smooth assignment experience, advising and coaching as necessary as a GM Consultant working in one of the largest GM teams in the network
The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar internal global mobility role and must be able to demonstrate:
Experience dealing with a variety of different global assignment types along with an in-depth technical understanding of Tax and Immigration compliance
Excellent communication skills and the ability to support and influence people. Is aware of the audience and how any information communicated will be received. Able to produce written business communication, as appropriate
Experience in leading projects within Global Mobility and/or broader Talent teams
The ability to communicate confidently with senior members of the business fostering a strong rapport with colleagues at all levels
Strong numeracy, analytical and spreadsheet skills with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts
Strong time management abilities including the proven ability to independently prioritise work and multi-task. The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Strong relationship management skills including the proven ability to quickly build strong personal networks with clients and peers
