As our Global Customer Activation lead, you help to define our promotional strategy on a global scale. Leading a team of Customer Activation Marketing Managers, you enable them to build brilliant campaigns that drive existing customers to increase their order frequency.
Taking a customer-centric approach, your focus includes boosting our share of orders for key calendar events, creating occasions and building promotional campaigns tailored to our target groups. Your expertise will ensure that everything we do is on-brand and sets us apart from the competition.
Collaboration is central to this role. Working with analysts across the business, you generate key insights that inform our strategy and campaigns. You also liaise with Partnerships and Brand experts to identify promising partnerships and build a strategy to boost BRG/FMCG, CSR and sponsorship opportunities.
In this varied role, you also have the opportunity to:
Develop and execute the global promotion strategy, leveraging third party brand partnerships to increase orders & ensure we engage with the target audience
Lead and support Marketing Managers and Associates in executing our global marketing initiatives & support their professional development
Set KPIs and work with channel owners and the Digital Marketing team to measure outcomes & adapt plans according to data insights
Deliver end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns and activities which meet our business goals, including global campaigns & specific brand and tactical initiatives
Review campaign & communication performance and present your findings and recommendations to drive sustainable growth and continuous improvement
Take a customer-focused approach to the production of relevant marketing material for consumer journeys, CRM, product and other key communication touchpoints
Be hands-on in implementing the marketing and communications strategy, such as planning & executing the yearly promotional calendar
Build business cases to ensure that capital and resources are used effectively in the right communication channels and ensure campaigns are delivered on time.
Support other CA teams: e.g. briefing the CA Solutions team on implementing new capabilities, helping the Customer Activation Creative Planner to deliver inspiring campaigns
Solid experience in Customer Marketing with proven leadership experience in Retention Marketing
Able to set commercially-led KPIs with a robust reporting structure & processes
Extensive experience in delivering effective communication campaigns & strategic implementation on a global scale
Expertise in strategy development & project management
Experience with generalist marketing, digital channels and market research
Tech-savvy and innovative, with a creative & proactive approach to your job
Strong team and stakeholder management: developing people, managing expectations and aligning various teams on shared objectives
T-shaped skill set, with in-depth knowledge of all owned and paid marketing channels
Fluent in English language, knowledge of Dutch or German is advantageous
A clear understanding of the execution process and success metrics for campaigns
Willing to travel to our international offices as part of your role
